Tourism Fiji is taking advantage of the opportunity offered to showcase in Korea.

The Fiji Tourism industry is taking marketing steps to promote Fiji in South Korea through a high profile promotional campaign.

The initiative is part of collaborations between the national tourist office and South Koreas biggest dairy product company, Namyang Milk & Beverage.

The two companies have come together in a Fiji Fresh Expedition promotion to send a group of seven winners along with a national TV film crew to sample the delights of a Fiji travel experience.

The winners are expected to take part in a host of activities all of which are designed to showcase Fijis ability to deliver a true and exciting holiday experience.

Tourism Fijis South Korea representative Ms Daisy Park said the promotion had already achieved massive cut through thanks to details of the Fiji fresh Expedition promotion being featured on millions of Namyang Milk & Beverage products on the shelves of literally thousands of supermarkets, shops and convenience stores located the length and breadth of South Korea.

The promotion has also been featured across 120 media outlets including the popular Chosun, Dong-A, Joong-Ang, Women JoongAng and Women Chosun.

Ms Park said while the main intention of the promotion had been to attract South Koreans aged between 20-40 years, the Namyang promotion had in fact reached literally millions of potential visitors.
