The fate of Fiji's Green Party will be known this Thursday as members will meet to discuss their political future.
Party leader Bernadette Ganilau told FijiLive nothing has been decided yet as of today and they would be sitting down to seriously discuss issues relating to their party which is also the deadline for existing political parties to register.
“At this moment we have not made any major decisions yet about the party as we will have to consult with all our members from non-governmental organisations and other sectors before we decide to dissolve or form a new party,” Ganilau said.
“We will just have to wait and see where the party goes from here,” she said.
The Green Party of Fiji was formed in November 2008 by Ganilau and it follows principles of ecological wisdom, social justice and non-violence, participatory democracy and sustainability.
