Applications are invited from suitable individuals for the position of “Financial Controller”

This is a senior management role and reports to the General Manager. The Financial Controller will also need to provide accounting and financial advice to executive management, board finance & audit sub-committee and board of directors.

Key outcomes include:
 Leadership and management of the accounting and finance function
 Supervision of accounting and financial reporting
 Treasury and liquidity management
 Risk management and internal controls
 Audits and taxation
 Company secretarial functions
This position calls for an individual with high independence and professional maturity. Candidates need to have proven track records in handling similar responsibilities within a fairly large and growing organisation. Your ability to demonstrate past achievements and hands-on experience in leading a financial & accounting team would be essential.

The successful candidate must have a degree in commerce (Accounting and Economic/Information system) from a recognised institution with a minimum of at least 5 years working experience in a similar role.

The potential candidate must have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, have good communication, numerical and analytical skills and be self-confident.
