Ahura Resorts is the management company operating two of Fiji’s most popular and well-known resorts – Malolo Island Fiji, and Likuliku Lagoon Resort in the Mamanucas.

We are now seeking a competent professional to join our team at Malolo Island Resort in the role of Human Resource Personnel/Personal Assistant to Resort Manager. Reporting directly to the Resort Manager, the successful candidate will ideally meet the following requirements:

Education: Degree or Diploma in HRM

Experience: At least 2 years proven experience preferably in Hotel/Resort environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

- Computer literate with excellent skills in MS programs.

- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment, particularly ability to work to strict time deadlines.

- Ability to work extra and long hours under pressure.

- Should be able to manage several tasks concurrently

- Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment.

- Prepare clear and concise administrative and technical reports

- Must possess good work ethics, self motivated, reliable, team player, friendly and outgoing personality

- Punctuality and honesty should be upheld at all times

- Must have excellent personal presentation.

- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities

 Providing administrative assistance to the Resort Manager as required

 Coordinate & minute general meetings

 Assist HOD’s in conducting in-house trainings

 Maintaining all HR records, policies & procedures ensuring compliance with HR/OHS/ERP legislations and regulations

 Recruitment and Induction of employees

 Planning for staff recognition program & staff training

 Preparing HR reports at month end

 Assisting with payroll when required

 Position advertised will be based at the Resort on Malolo Island.
