Responsibilities :
The appointee will be responsible for:
· Promotion of productivity and quality tools within organizations in Fiji . These include developing News, identifying Model Companies , developing “How to’ booklets and videotapes.
· Organise National Convention on Quality, promotions of Quality Circles
· Promote Production and Quality initiatives and tools to organisations, general public, school etc
· Organise the PAC Lunch annually
· Organise and facilitate the Productivity Week immediately after the PAC Launch.
· Implement Productivity Awareness activities aimed at the general public. These activities include developing radio ads. Hindi and Fijian Articles on Productivity, TV ads, Poster design and distribution, and web page updates.
· Promotion of Productivity and quality tools within organization in Fiji. These include developing, Productivity News, identifying Model Companies, developing booklet and poster on National Conversation On Quality and promotions of Quality Circle
· Implement the Plan of Action for Quality in Schools. Organise the Essay Competition and promotion of QIS in schools.
· Generate Media awareness on productivity awareness.
· Implement Productivity and Quality tools in the Civil.
Minimum Qualification Requirements :
A good Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Journalism or related field with at least 1 years of post Degree work experience OR Advanced Diploma of Quality Management plus 3 years of post qualification experience. Some training in productivity is highly desirable. The applicant should possess excellent writing, computer (MS office packages) and presentation skills and be articulate, innovative and be able to work after hours and meet deadlines.
Salary :
An attractive salary commensurate with qualifications and abilities would be negotiated with the successful applicant.
