Responsibilities :
The appointee will be responsible to the Dean, College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences and will be required to teach Physiotherapy at various levels and carry out research and consultancy activities in the areas relevant to the needs of the region, activities related to teaching such as regular review of units and programmes, upgrade of equipment and resources, and administrative matters and mentoring of junior staff and students. Activities associated with tutorials, lecturing, exam paper preparation & marking are to be implemented according to policies and procedures. He/She will also be responsible to demonstrate good practice in teaching, learning and assessment through the use of a wide range of learning resources and appropriate pedagogic practices.

Minimum Qualification Requirements :
A Relevant PhD degree in Physiotherapy with demonstrated curriculum development experience, and research/publication, and/or consultancy experience, in the relevant field is essential. Relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent) with considerable demonstrated research outcomes, or product design/development and/or patenting outcomes, and/or project management outcomes, and/or publications in recognized journals/outlets, and/or a significant number of consultancy outcomes, is essential.

Salary :
An attractive salary commensurate with qualifications and abilities would be negotiated with the successful applicant.
