The Fiji Corrections Services is using former Suncourt Hardware director Dhansukh Lal Bhika’s advice to run a shop at Korovou Prison.

The FCS took over the shop which had been run as a cooperative by officers.

The shop is run by paid officers’ wives but it is run by a FCS board.

Bhika and former Agriculture Ministry principal accounts officer Suliasi Sorovakatini were found guilty of official corruption last year.
