Eros International has started work on the movie 3G, its first Fiji production.

Eros director Vikram Rajani started work today at Pacific Harbour on 3G which features Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles.

The 40-day production project involves a team of 60 people and will be filmed at locations around Pacific Harbour and Suva before moving to Nadi and other island resorts in late June.

“Fiji’s pristine environment remain a largely untapped resource when it comes to film producers, but with the support of the Government financial incentive, our shores are becoming a more attractive location for Bollywood and beyond,"  Fiji’s Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said in a statement.

Sayed-Khaiyum said movie production directly fed the local economy, created jobs and built skill sets for local production crew.

Two more movies under the Eros banner will be shot in Fiji in late June.
