Davendra Naicker who allegedly murdered a taxi driver in Nausori last year will reappear in the High Court in Suva on July 20.

Naicker, 30, has pleaded not guilty to the charges with one count-each of murder and driving a motor vehicle without a proper licence and appeared this morning before Justice Paul Madigan.

State prosecution has acknowledged that it has received the voir dire (trial within trial) grounds from defence counsel Aseri Vakaloloma who sat in for Rajendra Chaudhry.

He allegedly murdered a taxi driver, Vishal Mishra, who was found dead at the Waituri irrigation area in Manoca, Nausori last December.

Case will be recalled on July 20.
