World famous Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever wants peace and stability in Fiji and is here to inspire, motivate and encourage people to live in harmony.

Lever, a staunch Christian from birth is in the country to deliver a testimony at the 2012 Arise Fiji- Festival of Power, Praise and Prayer and will be the main guest speaker at Churchill Park tonight.

Speaking to FijiLive from Lautoka,  Brother Lever who was born as John Prakasa Janumala said a life changing experience in 2002 has forced to get more closer to God and spread his gospel to the rest of the world.

"I went through a difficult period in life as my son who is now 22 was diagnosed with tumor and doctors saw no cure for it but God has his own plans and completely healed my son and gave him a new lease of life. The incident happened back in 2002 and till today it is right at the back of my mind and I want to preach the word of God to as many people possible and share the message of love, care and affection," he said.

"Life is meant for living. I am professionally an actor and a well known comedian but I am also very close to God and thank him always for the life of my family and all beings in this world."

"I have a very strong message for the people of Fiji and want them to come out in numbers and listen to my testimony because I believe in making a difference and motivating people through my words. If I can make them laugh by my comedy then I am sure I can also inspire and bring about changes in their lives."

"I believe in truth and truth is God. Being honest is godly and an amazing thing. I want Fiji people to live in harmony, peace and stability. Fiji is a wonderful nation comprising of very nice people. I am here to pray for Fiji and her well-being and I want as many people possible to join our crusade and make the country a wonderful place for all to live in peace and prosperity," he concluded.

Lever who is no stranger to Fiji as he has previously held shows around the country vows to return in the near future for more visits and possibly some movie shoots.
