A 60-year-old Labasa grandmother was found in possession of six bottles of home made alcohol by Police last Friday.

And a further search at her residence resulted in the discovery of another 100 litres rice whiskey in five drums which were still being processed.

Police spokeswoman, Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident to FijiLive and said the woman was questioned and released.

She said no charges have been laid on the elderly woman yet although investigations are continuing.
