A 57-year-old watchman of Narewa, Rakiraki lost everything in a home fire yesterday.

The congregated iron and timber home was burnt down to ground with all its contents.

 Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident and said the house was not insured and nobody was injured during the fire.

“The cause of fire is still unknown but the cost of damage is around $65,000,” Naisoro said.

Investigations continue to determine the cause of fire.
