The driver of the carrier involved in a road accident on Wednesday afternoon which resulted in the death of two farmers of Naitasiri has been charged with two counts of causing death and one count of dangerous driving.

The 32-year-old was driving along Nakorosule, Naitasiri when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and went off the road resulting in the fatal accident.

The accused  will appear in the Magistrates Court in Nausori later today.

Meanwhile, the remaining passengers are still admitted in hospital.
