Two of the fifteen Asian nationals who are alleged to have been operating internet gaming shops around the country without legal licenses have applied for bail to travel abroad for medical reasons.

Kelly Zhu and Huang Yang Dong appeared in the Magistrates Court in Suva today seeking bail to travel abroad for medical reasons.

Magistrate Yohan Liyanage has asked to be presented with the travel documents and medical reports of the two accused before he passes on his decision.

Defence lawyer, Akuila Naco agreed to present the documents tomorrow morning to Magistrate Liyanage.

The case has been adjourned to October 19, 2012.
