Ravula, Waqa return for Moana clash

Head Coach Mick Byrne has made seven changes to the starting lineup including the return of key players Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and Etonia Waqa as they brace for what is dubbed the Battle of the Pacific.

Armstrong-Ravula makes a comeback at flyhalf, pairing with Peni Matawalu at halfback, while Etonia Waqa returns from injury to claim his spot at blindside flanker.

The starting 15 also sees Zuriel Togiatama stepping in for his first start of the season at hooker, alongside stalwarts Haereiti Hetet at loosehead and Mesake Doge at tighthead prop.

The lock pairing remains unchanged with Isoa Nasilasila and Leone Rotuisolia. Kitione Salawa continues at openside flanker, with captain Meli Derenalagi anchoring the team at number 8.

In the backs, Taniela Rakuro and Selestino Ravutaumada will man the wings, while the center pairing features a returning Apisalome Vota at inside and Iosefo Masi at outside center.

Fullback duties are handled by Ilaisa Droasese, completing a dynamic backline setup.

The bench carries Mesu Dolokoto, Livai Natave, Samu Tawake, Mesake Vocevoce, Vilive Miramira, and Elia Canakaivata, ensuring fresh legs and support in the forward pack.

While, Simi Kuruvoli and Michael Naitokani provide versatile backline options.

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua vs Moana Pasifika match will kick off at 2.00pm on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
