Green mango salad or chutney



1. Peel and grate the mangoes into a bowl. Mix with salt and put in a strainer or hang up in a piece of cloth till water comes out.

2. Mix oil with lemon juice or vinegar. Add chillie and onion. Mix mango with dressing and serve on lettuce leaves.

For chutney
Leave out the oil

Heat jeera in a pan till crisp and then mix into the mango. Serve with curries.
