Liver Or Meat Chop Suey

1. Remove any fat or gristle parts from meat. Wash and cut into strips.

2. Put in a bowl and add agrlic, ginger and soy sauce. Leave for an hour.

3. Cut green part off Chinese cabbage. Slice the white stalks.

4. Cut onion into separate pieces, carrots into strips. Heat oil in a wok or large pan.

5. Stir fray the meat till it cooks. add onion and carrot and stir fry for few minutes, add the cabbage stalks.

6. Stir fry for a few minutes.

7. Add the cabbage leaves and stir fry till just cooked. Mix the water with cornflour and stir into the meat and vegetables.

8. Cook for about 2 minutes and then serve with rice or root crops.


Note: For a stronger flavour add extra soy sauce.
