Tasty Ota with Fish

Ingredients

  • 4 cups diluted coconut milk
  • 3 segments garlic, chopped
  • 1 small piece onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 bunch ota/fern leaves, removed from stalks
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 10 small slices of the flesh of fresh fish
  • salt to taste

Directions

1. Put diluted coconut milk in a pot. Add garlic and onion. Cook by stirring constantly. Bring to boil.

2. Add ota/fern leaves and bring back to boil. Stir in coconut cream.

3. Add fish and salt to taste. Cook fish a few minutes (do not overcook as overcooking makes fish tough) and remove from flame.

4. Serve

Yield: 5 servings (2 slices of fish per serving)
