Tiwa leads, FFA releases tentative fixtures

Ba midfielder Malakai Tiwa has taken the outright lead in the goal scorers chart after netting his seventh in his side’s 12-1 walloping of Nadroga in their National Football League fixture last Saturday.

Fellow team mate, Tuimasi Manuca moves into second spot after his five goals in the win over Nadroga. Manuca is tied in second spot with Valerio Nawatu, Jonas Naceva and Apisai Smith.

Abu Zahid moves into the fifth position following his double in Saturday’s win while Ratu Jone Tuinaceva netted his first for the season for Nadroga’s lone goal in the loss.

Meanwhile, Fiji FA has released tentative fixtures for this weekend’s matches.

A full round of games is scheduled this weekend with league leaders Ba hosting Lautoka in the feature match at 3pm Sunday.

Savusavu will host Labasa in the Northern derby at Ganilau Park, second placed Suva travel to Garvey Park to face Tavua, Nadroga to host Nadi at Lawaqa Park while Navua to play Rewa at Thompson Park.  

Meanwhile, in the premier division, Rakiraki will face either Nasinu or Tailevu Naitasiri on Sunday while Tailevu North will take on Lami at Buckhurst Park.
