Labasa to open NZ Cup tourney

The Babasiga Lions will take on the New Zealand-based Navua team in the opening fixture of the 2012 New Zealand Fiji Football Pacific Cup tournament at the Mount Smart Stadium.

The tournament will run for five days beginning at 5.30pm on Wednesday, 21 November.

Ba and Labasa have been seeded top in Pool A and Pool B respectively. Ba have been grouped with Lautoka Fiji, ASFA Australia, Nadi NZ and Labasa NZ while the Babasiga Lions are grouped with Nadi Fiji, Waitakere, Nasinu NZ and Navua NZ.
