Lautoka, Labasa to host opening round

Churchill Park and Subrail Park have been confirmed as the two venues to host the first round of the 2013 National Football League

This was confirmed to FijiLive by National League Board Chair, Shiek Ibrahim.  

"The two venues were available when we did the checks and booking has been done so the new National League season will kick off at these two locations," said Ibrahim.

 “As far as sponsors are concerned, they are very pleased with the call made by districts to hold double headers.”

The National Football League will start on the 16th of December with four games, two each scheduled at the two venues.

Ibrahim said other venues which will also be used to run the competition smoothly.

"Ratu Cakobau Park will under go maintenance and should be ready by March 15th, Prince Charles Park is also under repair and Govind Park is our very own ground, so when ever we want to use that we will do so. ”

FFA soon will release the confirmed fixtures for the opening round games.
