Vakatalesau gets two match ban

By Sunil Sharma

4R Electrical Football Club striker Osea Vakakatalesau has been slammed with a two match suspension and a fine by Fiji Football Association.

Vakatalesau was red carded against Malolo FC in last Sunday’s Kriz Signs National Club Championship Western play-off in Nadi.

Fiji FA chief executive, Bob Kumar revealed more to FijiLive.

"Vakatalesau won’t be able to play for his 4R Electrical club in their first two games at the Kriz Signs National Club Championship which commence from today at Govind Park and has been fined $172.00 which he will have to clear before he can take the field”, Kumar said.

Kumar said the referee’s report also stated that  Vakatalesau verbally abused the assistant referee after getting his marching orders and will have to appear before the disciplinary committee of Fiji FA.

4R Electric FC will take on Agriculture FC in its opening match of the NCC later this afternoon.
