Dreketi to miss top keeper in BOG opener

Dreketi will feature in the INKK Mobile Battle Of Giants opening fixture against Suva without national stopper Shaneel Naidu.

Naidu who recently returned with Fiji’s Olympic squad from Brazil will be graduating from the University of the South Pacific tomorrow and has been excused by the team management.

Second choice goalie Ronald Kumar will feature between the sticks while veteran Henry Dyre will lead the team’s campaign in their first BOG outing.

Former Labasa reps Vikrant Chandra, Kushal Naicker, Apisai Sesewa and Ashnil Raju add more strength while the return of coach Johan Leewai should further boost the morale and confidence of the newcomers.

Jaduram Investment sponsored Dreketi will face NEL Suva at 1pm.
