Suva holds Nadi, tops pool

Suva has topped Group A of the 2016 INKK Mobile Battle Of Giants after holding Nadi to a goal-less draw in its last match at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.

The Gurjit Singh coached side ended group stage competition with five points after registering a win and two draws and defending champions Rewa finish second with four points after recording a win, a draw and a loss and Nadi bows out with three draws.

Suva will feature in the first semifinal next Saturday against either Labasa or Ba while the second semifinal will see Group B winners Lautoka facing champions Rewa.
