Nadi beats Ba in lone VPL fixture

Defending champion Nadi overcome Ba 2-1 in the lone Vodafone Premier League match today at Prince Charles Park.

The win moves the Jetsetters to the third spot on the points table with 7 points after four matches while Ba remains on the fifth spot with 4 points after three matches.

The teams rested goal-less in the first half but Lekima Gonerau put Nadi up before Osea Vakatalesau leveled scores for the Men In Black.

A defensive blunder allowed Nadi skipper Iliki Ravosai to snatch the winner towards the end of the match.
