Tuivuna applies to join Ba in this window

Rugged Nadi and national defender Antonio Tuivuna has applied to join Ba in this player transfer window.

Speaking to FijiLive, Nadi FA President Navneeda Goundar confirmed receiving Tuivuna’s application and said the player will be released once all contractual obligations have been met.

“So far he is the only player that has applied to move and all other players will remain with Nadi in this window.”

Goundar also revealed that they are only keen to re-sign Rusiate Matarerega from Suva and not want to sign other players.

“We have a lot of young and upcoming players and want to give them all the break and exposure. Almost five of our players were part of the Fiji U20 team and they are all back and should play in the Vodafone Premier League this weekend.”

“Rusiate is a local Nadi boy and he wants to redeem his football career with us and we would be happy to have him on board. We are working on his release and although Suva has placed some conditions, we hope to get issues settled and have him cleared before the end of the win,” said Goundar.
