Dau shines in Rewa's comeback win

Seasoned defender Lorima Dau marked his return for Rewa in style and netted two second half goals as the Delta Tigers came from behind to beat defending champion Nadi 2-1 at Ratu Cakobau Park today.

Nadi displayed a much improved performance, and looked more focused after the 5-0 drubbing against Lautoka last night.

Defender-cum-striker Ame Votoniu scored the lone goal of the first half to give the Jetsetters a slender lead at halftime.

Dau headed in Rewa’s equalizer midway in the second half from a corner kick and slammed in the winner towards the end of the match for three important match points.

Rewa now has 19 points after 10 matches and remains on third place behind leaders Ba (25) and Lautoka (20) while Nadi is sixth with 11 points after 10 matches.
