New winner for Police IDC

A new winner will be crowned in the 2016 Fiji Police Force Inter District Championship (IDC) in Suva today after defending champion Western 2 failed to reach the semi-finals.

Laced with district reps like Misiwani Nairube, Senirusi Bokini and Paulo Buke, the Westerners were held 0-0 in their last pool match yesterday by Southern 2 and the result allowed the Southerners to book their place in the last four.

Firm favourites Police Special Response Unit (PSRU) and Northern Division topped their respective pools while Southern 2 and Headquarters finished off as runners up.

Headquarters with the likes of Waisake Navunigasau, Filipe Baravilala, Vikrant Chandra, Inosi Cava, Subramani Sami, William Prasad and Rajesh Roshan will face Akuila Mateisuva captained PSRU in the first semi-final this morning while Northern Division will face Southern 2.
