Tiwa double lifts Ba against Suva

Malakai Tiwa scored two goals as Ba came from behind to beat Suva 2-1 in an interesting Vodafone Premier League fixture at Govind Park last night.

Suva started the match well and an own goal by sweeper Manasa Nawakula gave the visitors an early lead.

Tiwa leveled scores for Ba just before halftime and sealed the win for the Men In Black in the second half with a superb free-kick which landed into the roof of the Suva goalmouth and had goalkeeper Tevita Koroi stunned.

Ba now has 22 points from 9 matches and plays second placed Rewa in their next home match tomorrow while Suva remains on 13 points after nine matches and plays Nadi in its next fixture at Prince Charles Park.
