Nadi beats 10-man Labasa

Nadi registered a hard fought 2-1 win in the Vodafone Premier League against a 10-man Labasa outfit at Prince Charles Park today.

The Babasiga Lions suffered an early setback after top goalkeeper Akuila Mateisuva was red-carded for dangerous play.

Striker Gabriel Matanisiga scored early in the second half for Labasa but two late goals to Ame Votoniu and Waisake Tabucavu sealed the win for the Jetsetters.

Nadi now has 14 points after 13 matches and plays its last match against Dreketi tomorrow while Labasa remains on fifth spot with 17 points and faces Ba in its last match of the season tomorrow.
