Blues beat Labasa in VPL opener

Lautoka defeated Labasa 2-0 in the Vodafone Premier League opener at Subrail Park yesterday.

The Blues with their star-studded line-up proved too strong in the encounter and scored a goal in each half through Dave Radrigai and Samuela Drudru.

The Kamal Swamy coached side faces Dreketi in its second match of the weekend at 3pm today.

In other matches today, Rewa will host Nadi and defending champions Ba will travel to the ANZ Stadium to take on Suva.
