Jetsetters register first VPL win

Nadi registered its first win of the Vodafone Premier League at Subrail Park today, beating Dreketi 1-0.

The match kick was delayed by almost an hour as the ground was full of mud patches and pools of water, forcing Labasa Town Council officials to pour sand in affected areas.

Defender Luke Rawadamu scored the lone goal of the match midway in the first half after tapping in a Napolioni Qasevakatini free-kick which was fumbled by Dreketi's goalkeeper.

The Jetsetters now have four points after playing four matches while Dreketi has three points from two games.
