Qasevakatini saves Nadi at home

Striker Napolioni Qasevakatini scored a 79th minute equalizer as Nadi came from behind to hold Labasa to a 1-1 draw in their Vodafone Premier League clash at Prince Charles Park today.

The visitors took full advantage of a defensive blunder by right back Mosese Balenagaga to open their account through Mohammed Zaid and lead 1-0 at the break.

Nadi improved its performance in the second half and continuous pressure by the Jetsetters in the last quarter of the match saw Qasevakatini sneaking in with the leveler.

Both teams now have 12 points each after playing 10 matches and will again return to action on Sunday at Churchill Park.

Nadi will face bottom placed Dreketi at 1pm while Labasa will face defending champion and current leaders Lautoka at 3pm.
