Fiji slips three places in FIFA ranking

Fiji has dropped three places in the latest FIFA ranking and is now ranked 168.

The Christophe Gamel coached side only managed one draw in its international friendly matches this year and lost three.

New Zealand remains on top in Oceania with a ranking of 119 and Solomon Islands are second with a ranking of 144.

New Caledonia is third (154), Tahiti is fourth (157) and Vanuatu is fifth (163).

In the top 10 rankings, for the first time there are joint number 1 with world champs France and Belgium sharing the top spot.

Brazil is third, Croatia is fourth and Uruguay completes the top 5 ranking.

The next FIFA World Ranking will be released on October 25.
