Exeter Chiefs fullback and Flying Fijians new find Josh Matavesi has been handed the kicking
responsibilities for tomorrow morning’s final test in the end of the year Europe Tour against Romania.

Flying Fijians head coach Glen Ella has slotted the 20-year old England based utility at first five
after veteran Nicky Little returned to his Bath side in England after the loss to Ireland last weekend.

Matavesi will have the likes of 2007 Rugby World Cup utility Gabby Lovobalavu outside him at second five and former Fiji sevens skipper Vereniki Goneva at centre while veteran fullback Norman Ligairi will be calling the shots from last man down at fullback.

In naming a relatively unknown side with rugged Gloucester based loose forward Apolosi Satala at captain; Ella is expecting Matavesi to play a key role in marshalling the backline and linking up with the forwards.

Meanwhile former Fiji Bati winger and rugby union convert Semi Tadulala will make his debut in the blindside wing, while Jimilai Naikadawa will start at the number 7 jersey.

Flying Fijians run on team to face Romania at 4am tomorrow is as follows: (15-1) Norman Ligairi, Timoci Nagusa, Vereniki Goneva, Gabriel Lovobalavu, Semi Tadulala, Josh Matavesi, Waisale Vatuvoka in the forwards, Asaeli Boko, Jim Naikadawa, Samu Bola, Leona Nakarawa, Apolosi Satala, Viliame Seuseu, Vereniki Suguturaga and Alefoso Yalayalatabua.
