England wary of Goneva-Naqelevuki pairing

England coach Stuart Lancaster has issued a word of caution to their supporters who are anticipating a sound thrashing of Fiji when they meet at 3.30am Sunday (Fiji Time).

"If people think we're going to turn up and put 50 points on them … It's going to be a completely different game,” he told English media.

““Just look at their centres, Vereneki Goneva of Leicester and Exeter’s Sireli Naqelevuki, probably two of the most dangerous attacking players in the Premiership.

“These guys strike terror in defences and Fiji will be out to smash us at every opportunity. If we become loose, they will punish us.”

This weekend's match is the start of four weeks of international action for the Red Rose which will see them also facing Australia, South Africa and world champions New Zealand at Twickenham.

England's team to face Fiji includes debutant hooker Tom Youngs.
