BOG finalists to clash in feature VPL match

Battle Of Giants (BOG) finalists Ba and Suva will clash in the feature Vodafone Premier League match this Saturday at Govind Park.

The match is expected to be a thriller as both teams are in the hunt for a top two finish in the competition and will need a win in the encounter to further consolidate their chances.

The two sides played to a 2-2 draw in their Round 1 encounter at Ratu Cakobau Park two months ago.

In other matches this week, Labasa will play Nadi and Lautoka will host Dreketi on Friday night.

And on Sunday, Churchill Park will host a double header where Dreketi will face Nadi at 1pm and current leaders Lautoka will meet Labasa at 3pm.

Defending champion Lautoka currently leads the VPL standing with 21 points after playing 9 matches and remains the only unbeaten team in the competition so far.
