Xavier books final spot after 15 years

Xavier College will feature in the U19 Division grand final of the 2018 Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) in Nadi today after a lapse of 15 years.

The Ba based school with the services of district rep Simione Nabenu proved too strong for Nakasi’s Bhawani Dayal Arya College in the first semifinal this morning and walked away with a 4-1 win.

Xavier College will meet Dreketi’s Ahmadiya Muslim College in the final this afternoon.

Ahmadiya Muslim College- the surprise package of the tournament defeated Nadi Muslim College 1-0 in the second semifinal with a last minute goal.

The final is scheduled to commence at 3pm.
