Lautoka set to sign Ba duo

Top Ba striker Samuela Nabenia and rugged defender Manasa Nawakula are set to join Lautoka in this transfer window.

Nabenia has already filed an official application for his release while Nawakula is still negotiating a deal and is highly likely to don the blue jumper in the new season.

Apart from the pair, Meli Codro and Laisenia Raura have joined Suva in training and have applied for their clearance while goalkeeper Josaia Ratu is also contemplating a move.

The Men In Black have so far only applied for the clearance of Solomon Islander Darold Kakasi and it is understood they are also in negotiations with a few other foreign players.

The Player Transfer Window officially closely on September 30 but districts who want to field their new signings in the upcoming Courts Inter District Championship (IDC) will have to get all transfer documentation completed before the registration deadline of September 23.
