Venue change for NRC Round 5 fixture

The Round 5 fixture of the National Rugby Championship (NRC) between the Fiji Airways Drua and New South Wales (NSW) Country has shifted from Ratu Cakobau Park to ANZ Stadium in Suva.

The fixture is scheduled to commence at 3pm (Fiji Time) on Saturday, September 29.

Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) confirmed the change today and this has also been endorsed by Rugby Australia.

In addition to the NRC match, a curtain raiser will be held between the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Rugby Team and the Australian Army Rugby Union (AARU) team, providing rugby fans with two top quality games at the Stadium.

The Australian Army will also be sending over a contingent of their Army Band who will be boosted by members of the RFMF Band to entertain the troops on the field and in the stands.

Tickets will be available from Fiji Sports Council and the FRU from Monday 25th September.

The tickets for grandstand are priced at $10 and $5 for the concrete embankment and grassed area while there will be no entry fee for children under the age of 12.
