Blues, AFFA All Stars to clash in opener

Inter District and Premier League champs Lautoka will face the Australia Fiji Football Association (AFFA) All Stars in the feature Day 1 match of the 2018 Rams Cleaning Services Pacific Cup on Wednesday, November 21 at the Sydney United Stadium.

The star-studded Blues are preparing well for the tournament under the watchful eyes of Coach Kamal Swamy while their opponents, who are also the hosts of the tournament, are expected to field their strongest possible line-up which will include some top guest players who are currently plying their trade in Australia.

4-time champion Nadi will meet last year's runners-up- the USA All Stars in another big clash on the opening day.

In the other matches on Day 1,  Melbourne and Auckland will kick off the tournament while Western Sydney will face Fiji FACT champions Rewa.

Defending champion, NZFFI All Stars will make their first appearance on Thursday evening when they will come up against the AFFA All Stars.

The official opening of the 2018 Pacific Cup will be held at 8.15pm on Friday, November 23.

Full fixtures are as follows:

Wednesday- November 21: 6pm- Melbourne vs Auckland, 7.15pm- Western Sydney vs Rewa, 8.30pm- Nadi vs USA All Stars, 9.45pm- AFFA All Stars vs Lautoka.

Thursday- November 22: 6pm- Rewa vs Melbourne, 7.15pm- Suva vs Auckland, 8.30pm- AFFI All Stars vs NZFFI All Stars, 9.45pm- Lautoka vs USA All Stars.

Friday- November 23: 6pm- Auckland vs Western Sydney, 7.15pm- Suva vs Rewa, 8.45pm- AFFA All Stars vs USA All Stars, 10pm- Nadi vs NZFFI All Stars.

Saturday- November 24: 10.30am- Melbourne vs Western Sydney, 11.45am- NZFFI All Stars vs USA All Stars, 1pm- Nadi vs Lautoka, 3.30pm- Melbourne vs Suva, 4.45pm- Rewa vs Auckland, 6pm- Lautoka vs NZFFI All Stars, 7.15pm- AFFA All Stars vs Nadi, 8.30pm- Western Sydney vs Suva.

Sunday- November 25: 11.15am- Semifinal 1 (Winner Pool A vs Runner-up Pool B), 12.30pm- Semifinal 2 (Winner Pool B vs Runner-up Pool A), 4.45pm- Grand Final.
