Tiejtens to team up with Serevi

New Zealand 7s winning coach Gordon Tietjens will team up once again with the king of 7s, Waisale Serevi, for a 5-day Serevi Academy to start on June 6.

The Academy is set for June 6-10 at the University of San Diego (USD) campus in San Diego, California.

Serevi said Tietjens’ is “second to none” with his ability to mold upcoming players “legendary.”

The great minds in 7s rugby will be joined by long-time Argentine captain Santiago Gomez Cora, US 7s most capped player, Matt Hawkins, and former ACT Brumbies Development Officer & National Championship winning sevens coach, Evan Haigh.

Established in 2011, the Serevi Rugby Academy is created to help accelerate the skill progression of the next generation of elite rugby players in North America and beyond.
