Tailevu vs Naitasiri, Nadro to take on Suva

Suva have cemented their place in third spot of the Digicel Cup standings after a narrow 5-3 victory over Rewa while Nadroga accounted for Macuata 36-20 in their final round robin matches at Albert Park and Subrail Park respectively today.

Their third place finish means they set up a semifinal meeting against reigning champions Nadroga at Lawaqa Park while Rewa drop to the promotion/relegation playoffs. In the other semifinal clash, Tailevu will host Naitasiri .

In their round robin match-up Nadroga accounted for Suva 42-20 in a round 6 match-up while Tailevu beat Naitasiri 16-13 in one of the round 11 matches.

The Tailevu vs Naitasiri semifinal will be played next Saturday whilst the Nadroga vs Suva clash will be played the following week on Saturday, August 18. The Digicel Cup final is scheduled for Saturday, August 25.
