Ratulevu steps in to help Northland

Coach Watisoni Ratulevu has been roped in to prepare Northland for the Farebrother Sullivan Cup challenge against holders Nadroga this Saturday at Lawaqa Park.

Former flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua who has been holding the reigns for Northland this season is sick Ratulevu told FijiLive.

"Tabua has been sick this week so I have been taking over coaching duties for the Farebrother challenge," Ratulevu said.  

Ratulevu who had coached Northland before Tabua took over said he does not see any difficulties in working with the team as he has been with them before.

"The main focus for the Nadroga game is to work on our set pieces,"Ratulevu said.

“Winning set pieces especially the line-outs, scrum, defence as well as attack are all vital. Knowing Nadroga's caliber we will need to lift our game."

The Nadroga versus Northland challenge will kick-off at 3pm.
