Male makes 7 changes, names new skipper

Flying Fijians head coach Inoke Male has made seven changes to the squad that lost to England Sunday and has also named a new captain for the Gloucester game at 8.45am tomorrow (Fiji Time).

Setefano Somoca has been named captain and will lead the front row pack with Tuapati Taleimaitoga and Manasa Saulo.

Apisalome Ratuniyarawa has been retained and will pair up with his brother Sekonaia Kalou at locks.

France based Jo Domolailai and Suva’s Malakai Volau will man the flanks with Nemani Nagusa at No. 8.

Kadavu native Kelemedi Bola replaces Nikola Matawalu at half back with Jonetani Ralulu at fly-half.

Watisoni Votu retains his position on the wing with Timoci Matanavou replacing Samu Wara.

Wara pairs up with Josh Matavesi at centre and Bordeaux- Begles’ Metuisela Talebula will run in at fullback.

Replacements: Seremaia Naureure, Deacon Manu, Ratu Penijamini Makutu, Api Naikatini, Iliesa Ratuva, Nikola Matawalu, Ravai Fatiaki, Aisea Natoga
