Ba wins Sangam IDC

Ba won the 2017 Sangam Inter District Championship (IDC) in style at Subrail Park in Labasa today after coming from behind to beat Rifle Range in an exciting final.

Suva rep Don Raj opened the scoring the final for Rifle Range to stun the star-studded Men In Black outfit which had the likes of goalkeeper Shaneel Naidu, Pranil Naidu, Johnny Rao, Dennis Rao, Narendra Rao Junior, Ronil Kumar and Avinesh Warran Swamy in their starting line-up.

Shivneel Rao managed to level scores just before halftime and veteran Ronil Kumar who was one of the outstanding midfielders of the tournament, scored the winner for Ba midway in the second spell.

Ba walked away $5000 richer after winning the final.

Meanwhile Rewa defeated Tavarau/Raviravi 3-0 to win the Premier Division title while Tabicola beat Nacovi 2-0 to claim the Senior Division title.
