Top guns march into quarters

Defending champion Makoi, host Rewa, unbeaten Ba and Nasinu have progressed to the semifinals of the 2017 Muslim Inter District Championship.

The four teams topped their respective pools after two day’s competition and enter the quarterfinals today as favorites.

In the first quarterfinal, Makoi will take on Varavu. Ba and neighbours Lautoka will clash in the second quarterfinal, Rewa will come up against Valelevu in the third quarterfinal and Nasinu will battle against Maigania in the last quarterfinal.

The semifinals and final of the Vodafone sponsored  58th Fiji Muslim League IDC will be played tomorrow.

Day 2 Results-  Ba 2-1 Nadi, Maigania 1-0 Navua, Lautoka 2-1 Maro, Drasa 1-1 Suva, Rewa 2-0 Lokia, Varau 4-0 Cuvu, Makoi 0-0 Valelevu, Rarawai 1-1 Sabeto, Nadi 1-1 Maigania, Ba 2-0 Navua,  Nasinu 2-0 Drasa, Suva 4-0 Maro,  Lautoka 1-0 Suva.
