Player fails drug test in BOG

Another player has been tested positive for using drugs during the group matches of the 2017 INKK Mobile Battle Of Giants at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Confirming this, Acting Fiji FA President Tarunesh Reddy said the player will be suspended for four weeks and will have to undergo a re-test once the suspension period is over.

Reddy withheld the name of the player and his district and said details will be made public if the player fails the second test as well.

A total of 48 players from the eight participating districts were tested during the group stage competition.
