Ba loss gives lifeline to Labasa

Ba suffered a 1-0 loss to champs Lautoka in their Vodafone Premier League clash at Govind Park tonight.

Left midfielder Dave Radrigai who returned to the Blues lineup after serving a one match suspension nailed the winner in the first half.

The Men In Black needed a draw in the fixture to seal the second place and their spot in next season’s OFC Champions League.

The result gives a lifeline to Labasa and the Babasiga Lions will now need to beat Ba in their all important clash tomorrow.

Ba has 25 points and will just need a draw at Govind Park while Labasa with 24 points is in a must win situation.

The Ba vs Labasa match kicks off at 3pm.
