18 clubs for NCC playoff

A total of 18 clubs will feature in zonal playoffs of the 2017 Vodafone National Club Championship this weekend.

Nine clubs will feature in the Southern Zone playoff at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Suva while the same number of clubs will participate in the Western Zone playoff at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

The teams will be drawn in three pools with three clubs forming each pool in the two divisions.

Teams that have qualified from the Southern Division are Calia Eagles FC and League FC from Navua, Bureta FC and Civic FC of Suva, Lokia Landing FC and Navuso Barbarians from Tailevu Naitasiri, Kasavu FC and Raymonds FC from Rewa and Waidalice FC from Northland Tailevu.

Western clubs that have qualified for the playoff are Nailaga FC and 4R Electrical FC of Ba, FC City United and Service Sports Club from Lautoka, DCA Sports Club and Blues FC of Nadi, Greenstar FC and Downtown FC of Nadroga and Rangers FC from Rakiraki.

The playoffs will be held on Saturday and Sunday and the pools will be drawn at the Fiji FA Headquarters at midday tomorrow.
